When you enter the fantastic valley of the river Drežanka, on the right is Čvrsnica, and on the left is Čabulja, which we can see coming down powerfully on its northern side. It is an impassable wall over which no hiking trails lead. The Čabulja mountain massif, a bare, craggy mountain that many experts consider, along with the Čvrsnica, Vran and Prenj mountains, to represent one of the most beautiful landscapes in Europe. which is why this area is soon to be declared a national park.
Its peaks are worth climbing for the fantastic view of the Drežnica valley, whose powerful appearance will inspire a sense of respect in you. Across Drežnica, you can see Čvrsnica, as if in the palm of your hand, and across the Neretva is the Prenj mountain, which you can unmistakably recognize by the bold lines of the horizon.
Čabulja is a mountain in Herzegovina between the Neretva River and its right tributary Drežanka. The highest peak is Velika Vlajna 1776 m.
At the foot of the mountain lies the Goranački plateau at about 700 meters above sea level, which is a well-known picnic spot for Mostar residents, especially in the summer months. In addition to the beautiful nature, the attraction is the semi-wild horses, which are in the hundreds in this area. In the area of Čabulja trails, the preparation and implementation of the bicycle park is also underway.
In recent years, modern weekend houses have been built on the southern slopes of Čabulje, with neat gardens and cultivated land. There is no doubt that the area is suitable for the development of rural tourism.
