President of the HerzegovinaBike association, Toni Zorić, he held a meeting with the representatives of the newly founded Tourist Board of the City of Mostar, who hosted him in their premises on that occasion. This meeting represents an important step in strengthening cooperation between the cycle tourism sector and tourism in general, with the aim of further developing active tourism in Mostar and Herzegovina.
The meeting was used as an opportunity to get to know each other and exchange information about the activities undertaken so far with the aim of developing cyclotourism in the region. The key projects and initiatives that the HerzegovinaBike association has implemented so far were presented, with a special emphasis on the promotion of cycle tourism, the organization of promotional events such as the Ćiro bicycle race, and the improvement of cycling infrastructure.
“I am extremely glad that we established this initial contact with the Tourist Board of the City of Mostar. I believe that with joint efforts we can significantly contribute to the development of active tourism in our city of Mostar and all of Herzegovina," stated Toni ZorićPresident of the HerzegovinaBike association,
During the meeting, future plans were discussed, which include the organization of new cycling events, improvement of existing trails and the creation of new tourist facilities that will attract visitors from the country and abroad. Special emphasis is placed on joint projects that will contribute to the development of the city of Mostar and Herzegovina as an attractive destination for cycle tourists and other forms of active tourism.
Both sides expressed their readiness for intensive cooperation and agreed on concrete steps for the realization of joint projects. It is expected that this cooperation will result in better promotion of the city of Mostar and Herzegovina as a destination that offers diverse opportunities for active tourism, which will also contribute to local economic development.
