Continental Corporation, one of the world's leading tire manufacturers and one of the leaders in the auto industry, is the general sponsor of the Blidinje BIKE Festival, which is held in the Blidinje Nature Park from July 12 to 14, 2024.

Continental is a sponsor of the "Tour de France" event, the largest bicycle race in the world, which has been held in France every year since 1903, and it is fair to say that Continental has its own team of junior cadets at this great event. Namely, every year the Tour of France invites the next generation of talented cyclists to ride in front of the main competitors as official cadets of the race - "Les Cadets Juniors du Tour". This is an exceptional opportunity to promote cycling and highlight the joy of engaging in sports activities for the younger generation. Every year Continental proudly supports new events on their exciting journey and all of the above preceded the signing of a contract with one of the biggest cycling festivals in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Blidinje BIKE Festival.
The signing of the contract took place in Maribor, Continental's headquarters for the Adria region, and the president of the "HerzegovinaBike" association, Toni Zorić on that occasion he had to say:I really see this as a big day for cycling in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Of course, we are happy that behind our Blidinje BIKE Festival there is such a big partner and above all a big name like Continental, but it is important to say that this is just the beginning of a bigger cooperation, where Continental tries not only to support cycling events, but the development of the entire of cycling in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Blidinje BIKE Festival, the largest cycling festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has opened registrations for its fifth edition of the event, which will take place from July 12 to 14 in the Blidinje Nature Park.
This year too, the central part of the SKI center in the Blidinje Nature Park will be filled with the sound of cheering and whistling by the hordes of fans, while the wheels of the competitors break the macadam trails of Blidinje in pursuit of the fastest time to reach the finish line. And the most important thing, this year the Blidinje BIKE Festival carries the high category of UCI Class 1, while the Balkan Marathon Championship is also held on the same day, which means that the Blidinje BIKE Festival will receive a new Balkan champion - we will find out who is the best among 20 countries in the world!
This three-day event, in addition to the MTB marathon, will also include numerous other outdoor activities, recreational events, educational workshops, there are events for the whole family, and there will be no shortage of good entertainment in the late hours, because Saturday is also planned for a night party this year! Nothing better than a little warm-up before Sunday's race.
