Winter Bike to Work Day – A Joint Initiative by HerzegovinaBike and Sindikat Biciklista
On Friday, February 14, we are celebrating Winter Bike to Work Day! This year, the initiative is jointly organized by HerzegovinaBike in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sindikat Biciklista in the Republic of Croatia, inviting all citizens to choose bicycles as their means of transportation to work, university, or school.
Even if you don’t cycle all winter, take this day as an opportunity to show yourself and others that, with the right winter gear, it’s absolutely possible!
This initiative was launched in Canada in 2013, and Sindikat Biciklista joined in 2015, promoting winter cycling among Zagreb residents. This year, HerzegovinaBike is expanding the initiative to Bosnia and Herzegovina, aiming to raise awareness about cycling as a healthy, eco-friendly, and practical mode of transportation – regardless of the weather conditions.
