The Ljubuški Outdoor Festival, which will be held this year from May 23 to 26, has opened applications for its competitions! Under the slogan "Choose your adventure", LJOF invites all lovers of outdoor activities to register for sports competitions as part of this popular festival.
The Ljubuški Outdoor Festival as a whole consists of a set of sports and recreational activities that connect and revitalize the scattered cultural, historical and natural heritage along the competition routes. The paragliding competition, running, cycling and trail paths are connected by the river Trebižat, which, in addition to its hydrological potential, is also a heritage of two natural pearls: the Kravica and Koćuša waterfalls. The route also connects national cultural monuments, the Roman military camp in Gračine and the fortress of Herceg Stjepan Kosača, which represent the special richness of this festival and make it unique.
Competitive disciplines within the Ljubuški Outdoor Festival 2024
As for the racing part, anyone interested can register for two disciplines for adults, namely: Polumaraton „Dva slapa 21k“ which connects the two most attractive waterfalls on the beautiful Trebižat river, Kravica and Koćuš, and Ljubuška desetka „Scunasticus 10,4k“ whose start is next to the national monument Roman military camp Gračine and the attractive newly built Archaeological and Visitor Center in Gračine. These two races are scheduled for Saturday, May 25.
Also this year, a program for children has been prepared, more specifically, a children's race „Kids run“ na redu je u petak 24.5. u 19:00h, u blizini vodopada Kravica.
The cycling part of the competition is a race „Mara 21k" & „Stipe 40k“. „Stipe“ is a somewhat more demanding mountain race that largely crosses the Butorovica hill, while the race „Mara“ follows the path along the river Trebižat and roads through the town of Ljubuški. Both the first and the second race connect two water pearls - Kravica and Koćuša waterfalls. These races are scheduled for Sunday, May 26.
Race "Mala Mara“ for the youngest is also part of the festival this year and takes place on Friday 24.5. at 17:00 next to the Kravica waterfall.
Applications for the "Kosača" precision landing paragliding competition are currently not available until all the technical details of the competition are determined, and all details about the paragliding competition will soon be available on the official website of LJOF.

By paying the registration fee for one of the listed competitive disciplines after previously registering through the festival's website www.ljof.ba you exercise the right to participate in the discipline you selected during registration.
